
ABOUT ME
I'm Georgia, a qualified Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer based in Southbourne, UK.

My Pilates journey began in Sydney, Australia, where I fell in love with the practice and qualified as an instructor. In 2019, I returned to London and made the leap from a high-stress career in TV production to teaching Pilates full time - and I’ve never looked back!​
​
Since moving to Southbourne (basically the UK’s answer to Bondi Beach!), I’ve been teaching weekly mat Pilates classes, including Beach Pilates, Pregnancy Pilates, and Mum & Baby Pilates.
​
More recently, I’ve opened Sobo Pilates - a boutique, Australian-inspired studio in the heart of Southbourne. The studio offers 1:1 and 2:1 Reformer Pilates, mat sessions, personal training, and small group mat classes in a calm, welcoming space.

I’m passionate about Pilates, fitness, and the real, lasting benefits they bring to your everyday life - and I’d love to help you discover that too.

WHY SOBO PILATES?
One of the things I love most about Pilates is that it’s for everyone - regardless of age, fitness level, or motivation. My classes are open to all, and I especially love welcoming beginners and helping them discover the benefits of Pilates for the first time.

My training has been in classical Pilates, which provides a strong, structured foundation. That said, my time in Sydney exposed me to a more contemporary approach, and I love blending elements of both styles - along with my Personal Training background - to create sessions that are supportive, dynamic, and effective.

Pilates has truly transformed my life. After a decade in a fast-paced, high-stress career, it taught me the importance of caring for both my body and mind. Now, I’m passionate about helping others experience that same shift - finding strength, balance, and a deeper connection with themselves through movement.
